Overview

The charging system is often overlooked when it comes to upgrading components in your diesel truck but aftermarket accessories such as off-road lights, aftermarket horns and on-board air compressors can overload your factory charging system and demand more than what the factory alternator can provide. The XDP high output alternator increases the output of the factory charging system giving you the ability to run high-draw electronics without putting strain on the charging system, it also features an OEM style decoupler pulley that helps synchronize the serpentine belt to improve efficiency while reducing noise/vibration and increasing accessory drive component life. Each alternator comes with an ultra durable wrinkle black coating.
