This is the AirDog II-5G DF-100 Fuel Air Separation System without In-Tank Fuel Pump for the 1998.5-2004 Dodge Ram 5.9L Cummins 24V 2500/3500 truck. The first diesel Fuel Air Separation System to include an integrated diaphragm fuel pressure regulator. It allows for better fuel flow at pressure, greater fuel pressure adjustability and boost compensation. All 5G systems include with upgraded wiring harnesses and connectors. The hardness features 12-gauge wiring from the battery throughout to the motor. A Metri-Pck 280 connector exchanges with the Deutch 2-pin connector which allows more current flow without generating excessive heat. Other hardness connectors are weather-sealed to help keep the elements out. Use the same 4G motor technology with better reliability, quiet operating system and keeps the "Demand Flow" from the previous AirDog II variants. This AirDog II-5G provides protection and performance like no other lift pump. With their patented air separation, water separator, and fuel filter are to make sure the expensive components in your fuel injection system gets all the clean fuel they can manage. This kit overcomes loss of power due to driving in higher altitudes with OEM fuel pump. By removing spray pattern disruption due to air entering the system, it helps to better the engine performance. It keeps the designed injection timing to allow more complete burn of the fuel entering the cylinder which increases engine efficiency across the power and torque range.
