SERVICE ADVISOR - Now Hiring

We are currently seeking a fill-time service advisor for our growing repair facility.​ As a worker with BC Diesel you will be part of a select team that is dedicated to ensuring our vehicle service deparmtents's needs are met. Working directly with our cusotmers and highly skilled technicians on daily basis to meet our montly targets.

All successful applicants must possess the following qualities:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Service Advisor
  • Have superior customer service skills.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good multi-tasking skills, attention to detail & well organized
  • Must be familiar and comfortable with working with Multi Screens
  • Organised with a close attention to detail.
  • Be self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of the team.
  • Automotive experience with Ford, Dodge and GMC light duty diesel brands will be a definite asset.

Experience:

We are currently seeking a part-time purchasing & inventory manager for rapidly expanding growing ecommerce store.​ As a worker with BC Diesel you will be part of a select team that is dedicated to ensuring our inventory is readly available for quick shipping nationwide.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the inventory levels of the businesses.
  • Receive and record new stock as it's delivered or shipped out by analyzing different suppliers
  • Recording daily deliveries, and evaluating new shipments.
  • Purchases supplies, materials, and parts for the company.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, prices, buyers, and delivery conditions to anticipate future material availability.
  • Direct purchasing programs accordingly.

AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN – BC, CANADA - Position Filled Jan, 2023

We are looking for a motivated automotive technician with a minimum of 5 years experience to perform light duty truck service and repair. Light duty diesel experience is not required, training will be provided.

Knowledge, Skills, and Certifications:

  • Minimum 5 Years Experience
  • Good computer, written and communications skills
  • Front end diagnostic and repair
  • Suspension diagnostic and repair
  • Wheel alignments
  • Brake service and repair
  • Will require the willingness to learn light duty diesel truck service & repair.
  • Good comprehension skills to understand equipment diagrams and reference manuals
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair, service procedures and specifications
  • Effective analytical skills and the ability to identify the problem quickly
  • Must understand and always be conscious of safety practices in any procedure
  • Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
  • Ability to priorities responsibilities and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy
  • Experience with Mitchell & All Data considered a strong asset
  • Experience with Light Duty Diesel repair considered a strong asset
