Product reviews for BC Diesel Coolant Filter Kit - Ford 6.0L Powerstroke 2003-2007

Received kit in good working order. Mine is black vs the blue one in the picture. Was a surprise but I rather like this as it looks more factory under the hood. Some things to note are; no instructions, luckily this kit is very similar to most others, just would expect instructions. Hose clamps for the return line are huge, if you over tighten them I could see it causing a gap and leak. Be aware of this and either get smaller ones or don't gorilla hand them on. The filter included has no numbers on it at all, and sense there is no instructions you will have to "guess" at the filter, though there are very few coolant filters out there still would be nice to know what they want you to use. Lastly when inspecting the filter housing I noted a fairly large piece of metal from the machining processes, so make sure you check it out before installing, though that should be a gimme.

Overall I would purchase again being as it is $40-$100 cheaper then most looking the same. Would have given it a higher rating if  the above mentioned items did not present itself. If fixed it would be a great "open box, DIY" project for anyone and an easy 5/5 at that time.

Bought the kit and it looks good, but there are absolutely no marking or numbers on the filter. Messaged them twice to see what info I need.

Great price, looks like similar quality to other manufacturers. Would be nice to have a simple set of instructions just to save the googling but i just used the sinister install manual. I did have to grind the edge of the mounting plate to get the bolt holes that mount the filter housing to line up but not a big deal if your doing this yourself you probably already have the tools.
