High Efficiency Core
XDP's X-TRA Cool Radiators are built with High-Efficiency Cores. The upgraded core has more fins per inch with heavy-duty tubes to maximize cooling efficiency in your truck.
Built with special brazing techniques, the X-TRA Cool Radiators feature internally reinforced end tubes and construction techniques to provide additional strength at the outside corners where the core is most vulnerable.
Special Gasket Design
To allow for expansion, contraction, and to handle the flex in the front end of your truck X-TRA Cool Radiators are built with a proprietary rubber gasket to increase durability and eliminate failure points found in the OE design.
Revised End Tanks
Revised Tanks add strength to the X-TRA Cool Radiator. Paying special attention to the weak points, reinforcement ribs have been added to increase durability. In addition, the plasitc mix used to manufacture the end tanks includes a fiber reinforcement to add strength.
Upgraded Mounting Points
To allow secure mounting in the factory location, and eliminate mounting point failures, the X-TRA Cool Radiators integrated mounting points have been strengthened for durability.
Unlike the OEM design, X-TRA Cool Radiator End Tanks are attached with a heavy gauge steel crimp strip. Instead of using aluminum like the factory, the heavy duty crimp eliminates tank and core separation failures that are common with the factory radiator.
