Overview

aFe BladeRunner GT Series Intercooler w/ Tubes is constructed out of cast 356-T6 aluminum with MDV technology and a 2-1/2" bar and plate design for your 1994-2002 Dodge 5.9L Cummins 12V/24V 2500/3500 truck. This kit features end tanks made out of cast 356-T6 aluminum that incorporate three multi-directional vanes that effectively direct air flow through the entire core for maximum cooling. These intercooler tubes are powder-coated wrinkle-black for heat resistance. The included intercooler tubes are made of 3" hot-side and cold-side mandrel bent powder-coated aluminium tubing for maximum flow. Smooth transition bends allow for low turbulence, increasing horsepower, torque and lowering EGT's. Completed with 5-ply heavy duty silicone couplings and constant tension T-bolt clamps for a tight, leak-free seal and secure installation. The coupling hose enables expansion, movement and vibration between two rigid pipes. It is tested at 100 PSI and perfect for high boost applications. The use of the bar and plate core design allows for better airflow and increased heat dissipation over the smaller tube and fin design used by the OEM. Each intercooler uses billet aluminium inlets and outlets for superior strength and durability. It comes with 3-5/8" inlet and outlet connections compatible with stock intercooler tubes.
