Overview

The ATS 3141802326 Doomsday Device Dipstick Overflow Control can stop potential engine fires in your diesel equipped with the 68RFE or AS69 transmission. You may have seen the FCA/Stellantis TSB discussing the potential for a fire if transmission fluid gets sprayed onto the turbo and manifold from the filler tube. This device was created  to stop the transmission fluid pressure from pushing out the dipstick. Using a set screw to hold onto the transmission filler tube's top, this device diverts any spilled fluid into a provided tube. By diverting the fluid, this device stops the pressure from blowing the dipstick out and sending transmission fluid on the hot turbo and manifold. Installation is very easy and this unit will give you peace of mind when towing heavy loads in your truck.
