Issues such as lack of lubrication, oil contamination, over-speeding of the turbo and excessive temperatures can gradually cause damage to the turbo in your truck. Common symptoms of turbocharger failure can include a significant loss of power, decreased fuel economy, noisy operation, excessive smoke, increased oil consumption or a check engine light. The Garrett GT3788VA is a Variable Geometry Turbo (VGT) and is notorious for issues such at the VGT vanes sticking and a seized unison ring. Restore proper operation of your truck with the Xpressor Turbocharger from XDP.
Xpressor Turbos follow a rigorous remanufacturing process to ensure they meet or exceed oem performance specifications. Each turbocharger is completely disassembled right down to the last nut and bolt. Once disassembled into individual components each part is thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Next, they're checked for microscopic damage at the housing, compressor, turbine wheels and rotating assembly. Before reassembly all bearing surfaces are precision machined to a like-new condition. The wheels and rotating assemblies are then balanced to OEM specifications. All critical wear parts such as seals, thrust plates, bearings and fasteners are replaced. To ensure the highest quality a 100%end-of-line testing is performed through the full RPM range along with a noise vibration harshness analysis.
The Xpressor turbo series are high-quality drop-in replacement turbos. Simply bolt in place and connect to all the factory equipment. A turbo install kit is also included with new O-rings, bolts and an oil feed line gasket.
